Product Details

The Barred is the result of crossing paternal fast feathering Barred Plymouth Rock stock with maternal slow feathering Rhode Island Red stock.

A black and white feathered popular breed, lays brown eggs. It is similar in appearance to 'coucu maran'.

Suitable for free range and garden conditions.

These layers have high egg productivity (>310 brown shell eggs at 74 weeks age).

We had been chicken owners for many years before we moved to Stag Hill Farm, where hens had previously been sold.
